Happy Thanksgiving

I was watching Delphi, my beautiful split face border collie as she lay in front of her flock of sheep.  I don’t think I have ever met anyone who loved their job so much or knew what they were meant to do in life so clearly.

It does not take an animal communicator to hear what Delphi is grateful for this Thanksgiving or anytime for that matter.  But to witness the gleam and joy in her eyes when she is working her sheep does make my heart happy. 

I thought of the quote “Dogs are not our whole life,, but they make our lives whole.”-Roger Caras

Sheep are not her whole life, but they make her life whole.  I am grateful that I can witness the joy and enthusiasm my dog experiences from her life being whole. 

May you know the joy of something that makes you feel complete.
